AENA grants to Global Exchange the foreign exchange concession at Tenerife Sur International Airport

Salamanca 29th December 2014.- The Company will start operating in early 2015 through two foreign exchange branches at Tenerife Sur International Airport, the seventh busiest airport managed by AENA by number of passengers, with 8.6 million travellers per year. One of the branches is located at the arrivals hall and the other one at the boarding area. The project, which will be a direct employment creator in the island, has made though an investment of €200,000.

President of the Global Exchange Group, Isidoro J. Alanís, stated that entering in Tenerife Sur means “one step forward in the Global Exchange’s commitment with the Spanish market”. In this sense, Alanís has recalled that Spain is “the strongest subsidiary in the Group”. “Opening new branches in Tenerife Sur means a great business opportunity for Global Exchange, as every year more than 7.8 million international passengers go through the airport, out of which almost 5 million are non-Euro passengers”, Alanís pointed out.
