Global Exchange opens first branches in Ecuador with a $300,000 investment

Salamanca, 5th January 2014.- Global Exchange, one of the three most important companies specialised in currency exchange services at international airports, opens its first currency exchange offices in Ecuador. Thanks to the agreement reached with Corporación Quiport S.A, operator of Mariscal Sucre International Airport in Quito, the company offers its services at the airport facilities with two branches, as reported by the Company.

The new branches, opened last Friday, were made after a $300,000 investment and will create 20 new jobs. The two new bureaux are located at arrivals and departures, where the Customers will have a total of six counters available to get their holiday money.

Mariscal Sucre International Airport, located at Tababela in Quito, was inaugurated at the end of February, expecting to receive about 6 million passengers a year, coming from all over the world.

With this new opening, Global Exchange has a network of 138 branches located at 41 airports in 13 countries, thus reinforcing its position as a leader company in the currency exchange services at the international airports of Latin America and the Caribbean, the location of 11 of its 13 subsidiaries.
