Desayunos Capital, the leading programme in economic news pertaining to Radio Intereconomía, interviewed Isidoro J. Alanís, Chairman and Founder of Global Exchange Group. He affirmed that they always “try to surprise customers by offering the best currency exchange service,” especially at the airports, but also adapting to the new times ahead, in which readiness, necessity and security are mandatory. For this reason, they started an online service that “enables to have delivered, to home or to any other address we want, the most sought-after currencies in just 24 hours, or 48 hours for more exotic ones.”
In order to meet market demands, they employ 2500 persons with the ability to address these needs 365 days a year and 24 hours a day; the foreign exchange market never sleeps.
He answered to the question about the bankruptcy of the British company Thomas Cook that “it surprises no one”, but he admits “booking cancellations will be harmful to Spanish tourism in the short term”.
