Salamanca, 16 July 2015.- Global Exchange, third leading company worldwide specialised in offering currency exchange services at international airports and other major tourist destinations, has signed a concession agreement with Turismo de Segovia for the opening of a new street-level branch in the city’s old town. The Salamanca-based Company inaugurates this way its second exchange branch outside the Spanish airport network, following the branch already established in Salamanca.
The branch is located in the Centro de Recepción de Visitantes and will give service to its customers, mostly tourists, seven days a week from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, putting at their disposal more than 50 foreign currencies. With its implementation, Segovia counts now with a new channel for the tourists that wish to change currency in this city, finding a rapid, agile and professional service.
“This kind of openings are nothing but a good symptom of the appeal and tourist interest of our country, not only of its coasts but also of its inland cities”, declares Isidoro J. Alanís, Chief Executive of Global Exchange. “This is, without a doubt, a perfect opportunity to keep rendering service to those who come to know and enjoy our country”, he says.
With this new opening, Global Exchange amounts to a total of 28 branches in Spain, where it concentrates 27% of its Global business with presence over at airports such as Madrid–Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife South, and in the city of Salamanca.
