Global Exchange to open 4 new branches at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow

• The company is going to open four new branches at the second most important airport in Russia, Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow.

• With this awarding, the company already has a total of eight branches in Russia.

Salamanca, 11th June 2018.-Global Exchange, the multinational company specialized in offering foreign exchange services at international airports and other major tourist destinations, has been the successful bidder of four bureaux de change at Domededovo in Moscow (Russia).

This awarding is strategic for the company because Domodedovo is the second most important airport in Russia, with more than 30 million passengers in total. It is an strategic spot because 13.7 million international passengers transited through it during last 2017.

In the words of Global Exchange President, Isidoro J. Alanís, “The awarding of these four bureaux de change at Domodedovo airport allows us to continue with the company’s plans for expansion in Russia. Moreover, the opening of those branches is key for us due to its coincidence with the World Cup. These new branches will be equipped with the our latest technological developments, such as the Customer Screen that will allow us to serve the customers in their own language, always keeping our highest quality standards and the excellence in service to all passengers transiting through the airport.”

New branches in Russia

The awarding of these four branches in Domodedovo for the next 3 years will be carried out in two phases: the two first branches will be inaugurated during June and they will be located on terminal 1, one on the arrival area and the other one on the departure area. Both of them will be open 24 hours a day. Later on, in September, when the construction of terminal 2 is completed, two more branches will open with the same characteristics as the first ones. In total, Global Exchange will have 9 counters available to its Customers.

With this new awarding, the multinational has a total of eight branches in this country, located in Moscow, with four new branches at Domodedovo international airport, in Saint Petersburg, with two branches at the airport and one at Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya Hotel, and in Siberia, with one branch at Novosibirsk-Tolmachevo international airport.
