Global Exchange begins operations at Heathrow, Europe’s largest airport

The Spanish multinational, a world leader in currency exchange, begins today providing its services in all four terminals of the United Kingdom's main airport and the largest in Europe.
Global Exchange now operates with 23 offices, 78 ATMs and a team of more than 180 employees.
The Spanish company consolidates its leadership in the sector by managing currency exchange at four of the five busiest airports in Europe.
Global Exchange, a Spanish company and world leader in currency exchange, has just begun operations at Heathrow, following an agreement reached at the end of 2025 to manage currency exchange services and ATMs at the English airport, the largest in Europe and the UK’s only hub airport.
As of today, Global Exchange operates 23 currency exchange offices and 78 ATMs distributed across Heathrow's four terminals, thus consolidating its presence in one of the continent's main airport hubs.
Technological innovation and excellence in customer service
Global Exchange has deployed its service model at Heathrow based on technological innovation and excellence in customer service. This includes state-of-the-art ATMs, multilingual digital transaction screens, and online services. This ensures an agile, secure currency exchange experience adapted to the needs of today's traveler.
For this new opening, the Global Exchange Group has mobilized a team of more than 180 people, including nearly 60 professionals specialized in international airport operations.

Consolidated leadership in Europe and Spain
After beginning operations at Heathrow, Global Exchange manages currency exchange at four of the five busiest passenger airports in Europe, consolidating its position as the preferred strategic partner of the continent's main airport operators.
Additionally, in Spain, Global Exchange also leads currency exchange management at four of the five airports that received the most passengers in 2024: Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Málaga-Costa del Sol, and Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández.
