Global Exchange has obtained ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System certification, the international recognition that validates its ability to maintain operational services in the face of any unforeseen event: technical failures, cyberattacks, or adverse situations.

This certification represents an official seal of trust for the more than 12.5 million customers, partners, suppliers, and institutions working with the company, which currently maintains 99.99% availability in its services.

Global Operational Guarantee

To achieve ISO 22301, Global Exchange has demonstrated comprehensive risk analyses, operational continuity plans, clear emergency response procedures, and real capacity to maintain its operations across the 30 countries where it has a presence, with 3,000 professionals working daily.

ISO 22301 is the most widely recognized international standard for business continuity and certifies that an organization can ensure the continuity of its business and services in the face of any eventuality.

Manuel Martín Portillo, Corporate Technology Director at Global Exchange, emphasized that "this certification is the result of exhaustive work by our technical teams to ensure that, in any eventuality, our systems and services remain operational. We have implemented robust response and recovery protocols that allow us to maintain that 99.99% availability that defines us. It's a commitment to operational excellence that we uphold every day."

Security and Continuity: A Comprehensive Commitment

This achievement adds to the recertification of ISO 27001 for Information Security, renewed for another year. Both certifications position Global Exchange as a company that:

  • Protects its customers' data (ISO 27001)

  • Guarantees the continuity of its services (ISO 22301)

Isidoro J. Alanís, President and CEO of Global Exchange, stressed that "obtaining ISO 22301 certification reinforces our commitment to the trust that millions of travelers place in us each year. Ensuring that we will always be available, protecting their data and offering excellent service, is in our company's DNA. This recognition, together with our ISO 27001, positions us as a benchmark in security and reliability in our sector. I want to thank the exceptional work of all our teams who have made this achievement possible."
