Global Exchange will begin providing currency exchange services at Heathrow Airport starting January 2026

  • The Spanish multinational brand, world leader in foreign exchange services, has signed the contract to run 23 offices, 98 ATMs and over 40 cash-to-cash dispensers in the most important airport in Europe.

Global Exchange, the world's leading company in foreign exchange services, has secured an historic agreement to exclusively offer foreign exchange and ATM services at Heathrow Airport, Europe's largest airport.


The operations will start in January 2026, and the deal includes 23 currency exchange offices, 98 ATMs and over 40 cash-to-cash automatic dispensers across the four terminals of Heathrow.


Global Exchange's approach to its currency exchange service will be based on customer service and digital solutions. The company's proposal for Heathrow includes an offer focused on innovation and IT development: ATMs with the latest technology, self-service cash-to-cash dispensers, digital transaction screens with multilingual features for customers and Click & Collect online services.


To lead the implementation process of this project at Heathrow, Global Exchange Group will deploy a team of more than 180 employees, mobilising around 60 specialised professionals.
