Global Exchange lands in Peru. The Spanish multinational has begun operating in a new country, the 28th in its global network.
This achievement coincides with the opening of the new and modern Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, where Global Exchange has opened 3 offices: two located in the check-in and boarding area, and one in the arrivals area.
The new Jorge Chávez International Airport has involved a total investment of more than 2 billion dollars, and is set to become one of the most important in South America, with an initial capacity for 40 million annual passengers that can reach 50 million with future expansions.
This new expansion reinforces Global Exchange's position as a leader in the Latin American region, where it already operates in 13 countries: Chile, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay and now Peru. With a total of 230 exchange offices.
This is a new step in Global Exchange's international expansion that, in addition to strengthening its path towards global leadership in the currency exchange sector, also brings it closer to its goal of offering quality services to an ever-increasing number of travelers worldwide.
The Spanish company states that this new opening is thanks to the dedication and effort of the entire Global Exchange team. Santiago Calderón Ruigómez, Retail Business General Manager of the Global Exchange Group, has pointed out that "each new opening is a demonstration of our international vocation, but also of our commitment to operational excellence. With our entry into Peru, we further strengthen our presence in a strategic market for the company that reinforces our leadership position in the area."
